2010/11 Super Liquor Summer 5-a-side Soccer

Just like that another summer season of Super Liquor Summer 5-a-side soccer is over. But don't worry, it's back on January 27, 2011 (that's a Wednesday night, just so you know).

A Grade winners - Kings, runners-up - The Clan.
B Grade winners - Toolz, runners-up - Double Danis.
Businesshouse A winners - Matamata Butchery, runners-up Band of Brothers.
Businesshouse B winners - 5 Stallions & a Cougar, runners-up The Comebacks.

Major knock-out winners - Thunderhammers, runners-up - The Clan.
Major knock-out plate winners - All Sorts, runners-up - Toolz.
Businesshouse knock-out winners - 5 Stallions & a Cougar, runners-up - Band of Brothers.
Businesshouse knock-out plate winners - Motley Crew, runners-up - Metso.
Consolation knock-out winners - Maggots, runners-up - Paul Jones Contracting.


The league structure

Four leagues this season:

A grade eight teams with everyone playing everyone else three times. The team with the most points after all the games are played will be the winner.
B grade eight teams with everyone playing everyone else three times. The team with the most points after all the games are played will be the winner.
Businesshouse A ten teams with everyone playing everyone else twice. A two week playoff series will decide the league winner.
Businesshouse B twelve teams with everyone playing everyone else twice. The team with the most points after all the games are played will be the winner. This league will include the teams that entered the Junior section.

When do we begin?

Thursday September 30, 2010.

How much to enter?*

$180 (pre-Christmas only) or $220 (post-Christmas as well).
An early bird fee of $160 (or $190) can be enjoyed if you enter and pay before registration night (Thursday September 16, 2010).

What do we get?

1. Twelve nights of summer 5-a-side soccer (or 18 nights if you choose to play after Christmas as well).
2. Each team will receive a match ball on the first night of 5-a-side.
3. The prize pool has been upgraded and expanded.
4. A prize draw will be held at 8.30pm every week.

How do we enter?

Fill out the registration form and post it with your entry fee to: Super Liquor Summer 5-a-Side Soccer, PO Box 145, Matamata 3440.
Or, bring your completed registration form and entry fee to the registration night on Thursday September 16, 2010.
